Lexington, KY – Habitat spokesman Bill Wood says the paint will be recycled, re-formulated, and re-sold.
"We blend it, or bulk it, put it in five gallon drums and then sell it at our ReStore at 451 Southland Drive. As always, the money that we make from sales of the paint, or any other items at the ReStore helps to fulfill our mission - to provide safe, decent and affordable housing and provide home ownership opportunities to families in Fayette County".
Wood says two paint shades will be produced first - beige and gray other tints will be added later. He says Habitat will continue to collect unused paint at its office on Industry Road.
