LEXINGTON, Ky. – Joesph-Beth Booksellers will soon be under new ownership. At a bankruptcy auction Wednesday night, the company that manages The Mall at Lexington Green outbid Joseph-Beth founder Neil Van Uum.
The Joseph-Beth location in Cincinnati and a health-themed Joseph-Beth in Cleveland were also sold to the management company, which is affiliated with Robert Langley. The final bid was not revealed.
Langley told the Lexington Herald-Leader that he made a business decision that he thought would be best for Joseph-Beth and Lexington Green.
