Fraternal Order of Firefighters President John Durr says donations will be accepted beginning Monday.
“They can drop any new toy off at any fire station in Lexington. They can also drop it off at our North Pole, which is 324 Henry, whenever we are there, especially during signups, we’ll be there to accept them."
Durr credits the community for helping firefighters collect more than 3,000 toys last year.
“There’s a lot of people who are thankful because they know that if it wasn’t for us, they wouldn’t be having a Christmas or they wouldn’t be having a Christmas at the level they’re going to have because of us.”
Recipients can sign up for assistance beginning November 12th.
