Kentucky Proud Incredible Food Show To Feature Food Network Chefs
Food Network chefs Jamie and Bobby Deen are the guests of honor at this year’s annual Kentucky Proud Incredible Food Show this Saturday.
Over 100 vendors and exhibitors are expected for the one-day consumer trade show, which will feature seminars, live cooking demonstrations, local wineries, restaurants, and product sampling in an area called The Marketplace.
The Deen brothers will take the stage at Rupp Arena for two shows at 11 AM and 3 PM. Jamie Deen told WLEX he looks forward to mingling with the crowd.
"We're really a blessed family and we sure do appreciate everybody that takes the time to come out and we want to spend a lot of time with everybody - you know, shake hands, kiss babies, take pictures," Deen said.
This year will also include a feature called Restaurant Row, where attendees can purchase “small plate” offerings from regional restaurants, a Traditional Foodcraft Area showcasing demonstrations of traditional Kentucky heritage food, and a Quick Tips booth offering demonstrations of a variety of cooking techniques.
The Incredible Food Show kicks off at 9 AM Saturday at the Lexington Center.
