Executive Director Victoria Faoro says they will be celebrating in style and using this weekend to reflect the full scope of the center.

“We have Chautauqua characters provided by the Kentucky Humanities Council who will be portraying famous personalities like Henry Clay.  They’ll be here just mingling with the crowd and in full dress.  We’ll also have two demonstrations each day and a wide variety of arts and crafts and we’ll also have live music every day and of course we always have work by over 700 artisans by all over the state here so people will be able to really enjoy that.”

Faoro credits the Artisan Center’s success on the support of numerous partners since before they even opened in 2003…including artisans, local contributors and the state and local governments.  The Kentucky Artisan Center is open daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
