K-12 Education Leaders Not Happy With House Budget

Lexington, KY – The spending plan that passed out of the House would eliminate two instructional days from the school calendar in an effort to save money.

Holliday says it sends the wrong message to federal education officials, who are currently considering Kentucky's application for Race to the Top funds. The Commonwealth hopes to receive some 200- million dollars in funding.
