It's Move-In Day At UK

University of Kentucky

Today marks another move in day at the University of Kentucky which means traffic will be dicey on campus.  About 2,000 students have already moved into their dorms, today 1300 more will arrive.

UK Police Chief Joe Monroe is asking everyone to be patient; several main traffic arteries will become one-way streets today. “Most of these vehicles are going to be coming in via Cooper Drive and then some of the individuals will be going up Complex Drive to move in Ingalls Hall as well as all the Blanding Complexes 1,2,3 & 4.  Then the ones that are going to Woodland Glen will continue on up to Hilltop Avenue and be offloaded onto Support Center Drive or Woodland Avenue for their move in”

The same traffic patterns will be in effect on Friday and Saturday, the final two move-in days for 2,900 more UK students.
