Frankfort, KY – Grayson didn't have to go far to qualify to run for U-S Senate. The Secretary of State just popped into an adjacent office at the State Capitol to sign the paperwork and pay his filing fee. Afterwards, he told reporters he's expecting a spirited race. "I knew this race, because of the importance of all these issues that we are facing as a country, was going to be hard - a hard primary and hard general election. I knew that there would be people who would want to run to address these problems."
To date, three other Republicans, including Bowling Green physician Rand Paul, have qualified to run against Grayson in the May 18th primary. Grayson is running for the seat currently held by U-S Senator Jim Bunning, who's not seeking re-election.
