LEXINGTON, Ky. -- – If last night was any indication, the general election race for Lexington Mayor between incumbent Jim Newberry and Vice Mayor Jim Gray, promises to be a spirited affair.
Newberry won 43.7% of the vote in the four person primary that also included former Mayor Teresa Isaac and businessman Skip Horine.
Gray captured 35.7% of the vote, Isaac 16.6%, and Horine 4%.
