Grant County Residents Still Without Running Water

Lex-18

Ninety percent of the people living in Corinth are without running water, and their taps have been dry since last Saturday. Donated water bottles and jugs have been pouring into the city and residents are grateful but say they still need more. Some restaurants and other businesses have had to close because of the short of supply of H2O.

The problem started with a leaky pipe in the city’s water supply system which took days to pin point. City officials think they’ve now found the problem but don’t know if a repair will fix it. Some people are getting water to flow but the city remains under a boil water advisory. If you can donate water, a drop off site has been set up at the Corinth fire station on Highway 25.
