Lexington, KY – State and local leaders were on hand to witness and celebrate the transformation of the former Bluegrass Aspendale public housing community.
Lexington Housing Authority Executive Director Austin Sims says the new Equestrian View subdivision is a perfect example of a public / private partnership resulting in both economic development and social justice. The new complex is a mix of rental units and affordable housing, with sloped front yards, and fifty-three different exteriors. Tours of the buildings will be given both Friday and Saturday.
