First Lady Michelle Obama To Speak At EKU
RICHMOND, Ky. - First Lady Michelle Obama is set address Eastern Kentucky University's graduating class May 11, according to the White House.
The appearance is part of the First Lady's Joining Forces initiative, which supports veterans and their families. According to the White House statement, EKU is home to over 1,200 veterans and offers a variety of programs tailored to them, including full-time counseling, advising, and job placement.
Obama will address graduates from EKU's College of Education and College of Business and Technology at 7:30 p.m May 11th.
