Few Surprised, Many Disappointed By Romany Road Kroger Closure

This week on the Business Side Alan Lytle and Mark Green of the Lane Reporttalk about the closure of the Kroger grocery store on Romany Road.  With recent multi-million dollar upgrades of two nearby locations, many speculated that the smaller, more intimate store in the Chevy Chase neighborhood might not survive.  Urban County Councilman Bill Farmer has scheduled a public meeting Tuesday night at 6 p.m. at Christ The King Church to discuss future uses for that piece of property.
