If you’ve shopped at Fayette Mall in recent weeks, you’ve likely traveled through the labyrinth of walkways running through the old Sears.
For months, shoppers have been shuttled through a series of passages winding inside and outside the mall. Now, the corridor is taking shape inside and the new stores are preparing to open their doors.
"There's a lot of new shopping, especially for the holiday season," Fayette Mall's Sarah Enlow told WKYT. "Stores like H&M, Vera Bradley, Oakley, Eddie Bauer. We have stores like Altar'd State, Swarovski, L'Occitane..."
Already visible to customers is the new Cheesecake Factory location hugging the outside of the mall. In all, more than 30 stores are set to take part in the Grand Re-Opening slated for November 7th.
Still, five locations within the mall have yet to be filled, but Enlow says announcements about those spaces could be coming soon.
