LOUISVILLE, Ky.  - Several dozen Kentucky National Guard members will be welcomed back to the state on Tuesday in Louisville.

More than 60 members of the Agribusiness Development Team 3 are returning to Kentucky. The team worked to sustain relationships built between previous teams and Afghan farmers. The guard says it's all part of an effort to help the country become agriculturally self-sufficient by developing the agricultural marketplace.

The team is made up of Army and Air National Guard members with different agricultural skills. Another team is already in place to take over for Team 3.

The Kentucky National Guard says it has nearly 450 soldiers and airmen deployed.
