LEXINGTON, Ky. – A customer service company has a new office in Lexington ready to be filled with some 250 new employees. Allconnect cut the ribbon Monday at its new facility in the UK Coldstream Research Park.
CEO Mark Miller says Allconnect contracts with utility companies to help people get power connected when they move to a new home.
"It's a job where you're engaged with the consumer, but you're talking about things along technology lines, you're talking about green energy. In many cases we're helping our power company partners explain to consumers about green energy options for their home that can save them money."
Miller says about 40 people have been hired so far, but Allconnect hopes to get its Lexington location up to full capacity in a couple of months. Interested applicants can learn more at allconnect.com/Lexington.
