Creation Museum Says Science Guy Debate Already Sold Out
Officials at the Creation Museum say they have sold every ticket for next month's scheduled debate featuring Bill Nye "The Science Guy."
The museum is hosting a creation versus evolution debate between founder Ken Ham and the popular television personality. Tickets went on sale online at 10 a.m. Monday morning on the Creation Museum website, and were sold out within the first two minutes.
The debate will take place on Tuesday, February 4, at 7 p.m. at the Creation Museum.
The agreed-upon topic for the debate is: "Is creation a viable model of origins in today's modern scientific era?" Debate information can be obtained at http://www.answersingenesis.org/outreach/event/Nye-Ham-Debate/.
Information will be announced soon about live-streaming of the debate.
Nye was the Emmy-winning host and producer of the popular "Bill Nye the Science Guy" PBS-TV program for children. The TV show, featuring Nye wearing his trademark bow-tie, was also shown in many public school science classrooms. He is the current executive director of the Planetary Society and is a frequent guest on TV and radio interview programs.
