Charges Filed Against Four UK Football Players

Criminal charges have been filed against four UK football players accused of being involved in an incident where an airsoft gun was fired on campus.

Freshmen Stanley "Boom" Williams, Drew Barker, Dorian Baker and Tymere Dubose were charged with second-degree disorderly conduct Thursday morning, according to court documents.

They are due to be arraigned on Oct. 28.

Police say all four players and three other people came forward after they were spotted in surveillance video dumping the airsoft pistols in the area where witnesses reported hearing shots fired Sunday night.

Police say they recovered four airsoft pistols they believe had been involved in the incident near the Kirwan/Blanding complex.

Earlier this week UK Coach Mark Stoops suspended the four players for Saturday's game against South Carolina.
