Cement Being Poured At CentrePointe

kentucky.com

Before the sun came up Friday morning, there was movement at the CentrePointe construction site in downtown Lexington.

Cement trucks rolled in and out of “the pit” between 2:00 and 7:00, pouring loads of concrete. One lane of Vine Street had to be shut down but since the 100 plus loads of cement were delivered before morning rush hour, traffic wasn’t impacted. Crews were working on an elevator shaft for a proposed office tower and are continuing construction of a three-story underground parking garage. This past May, developer Dudley Webb said the plan was to have the garage completed by the end of 2016.
