Cases Of Suspects In Teenagers Murder Waived To Grand Jury

A grand jury will hear the case against three of the four men charged with firing weapons the morning 15-year old Trinity Gay was shot and killed.

A Fayette District Court judge held a hearing for Dvonta Middlebrooks, Lamonte Williams, Chazerae Taylor and D’Markeo Taylor on this morning. They are charged with wanton endangerment in connection with the murder of Trinity Gay. The 15-year old daughter of Lexington native and Olympic sprinter Tyson Gay died after being caught in crossfire on October 16th when she was walking in the parking lot of the Cook Out restaurant on South Broadway.

The judge continued the case against Middlebrooks was continued because he just retained an attorney this week.  The cases of Williams, and both of the Taylors were waived to a grand jury. Those three remain out on bond.
