Lexington, KY – Kentucky Coach John Calipari is the latest UK Athletics personality to grace a commemorative bottle of Makers Mark; part of a successful charitable effort between the distiller, Keeneland, and the UK Symphony Orchestra. Sale proceeds of some 24-thousand of the keepsakes will fund a program that takes the symphony into elementary schools and performing arts centers across the state.
UK President Lee Todd says the marriage between the school's sports and music programs is a natural.
The bottles will go on sale statewide on Friday April 2nd the opening day of the spring meet at Keeneland.
