Lexington, KY – 24-thousand of the collectors' items flew off liquor store shelves last Friday as part of a fund drive for the UK Symphony's outreach program. Coach Cal told a camera crew from WKYT, it was yet another special moment since becoming Kentucky's Top Cat.
Demand for autographs for the Coach Cal bottle were so high, that organizers had to make changes to the bottle signing format this year. Tickets for a place in line were distributed through Ticketmaster. No ticket meant no Calipari signature. Fans also could get their bottle signed by Keeneland President Nick Nicholson or Maker's Mark President Bill Samuels.
