Beshear Makes New Appointments To UK Board Of Trustees
LEXINGTON, Ky. - Two new faces will soon be joining the University of Kentucky’s Board of Trustees. Governor Steve Beshear made the appointments Wednesday.
Two new trustees – Kelly Sullivan Holland and Mark Bryant – will take seats around the table. Holland is a Lexingtonian who works in sales for Merck & Co. She replaces Sandy Patterson and will represent the school’s alumni. Bryant, a Paducah lawyer who has contributed close to 27-thousand dollars in political donations, some of which went to Beshear and the Democratic Party, will take over for Erwin Roberts, whose term has expired.
Beshear also made a number of appointments to the University of Louisville Board of Regents, the Kentucky State Board of Regents, and others Wednesday.
