More than 500 full-time jobs are being filled at Amazon's distribution center in Shepherdsville.
The company says it is hiring to meet growing demand. Bullitt County Judge-Executive Melanie Roberts said in a company news release that the company's fulfillment center located there contributes to the county's overall economic stability. The company says the jobs offer benefits including health insurance, a 401(k) plan with match, stock awards and a program to partly cover tuition.
