The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet will put up a traffic light on the newly reopened Citation Boulevard in Lexington.
Motorists have called in numerous complaints and more than a half dozen accidents have been reported on the road since the ribbon was cut allowing traffic through on Monday. Wednesday morning, KYTC took to twitter to let the public know they were working to install a traffic signal ASAP at Citation and Greendale, where most of the accidents have occurred.
The Transportation Cabinet has announced some limitations for traffic movements.The limited movements are as follows:
*no left turn off of Citation on either side
*no left or through turn off of Greendale on either side
*motorists will be only able to turn right off of Greendale onto Citation
*motorists will be able to turn right from Citation onto Greendale
