UK Campus Community Getting Crime Prevention/Safety Tips

Lexington, KY – The Fayette County Sheriff's Office, Lexington Division of Police, and the University of Kentucky Police Department are beginning a campaign focused on student safety and crime prevention. UK Interim Police Chief Major Joe Monroe says crime reports typically increase on campus and in the surrounding neighborhoods as students begin to settle in for fall classes.
